Company - History

Founded in 1993, STEER Engineering (P) Ltd. is a result of the visionary zeal of Dr. Babu Padmanabhan, who set out to reinvent the methods by which Twin Screw Compounding Elements were being manufactured. Constant innovation and ceaseless hard work has enabled the company to carve out a prominent position, globally, for the quality and precision of its products. The company now supplies to some of the worlds largest Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and compounders in Japan through Kubota Corporation. The company also supplies to several multinational companies including GE Plastics worldwide.

A natural progression was the design and manufacture of the latest generation of Co-rotating Twin Screw Extruders. The receipt of the first order of a 60 mm diameter extruder was in April 2003 and successful commissioning was completed in September 2003.
