Atanu Maity, President & CEO, STEER Engineering

 

Atanu is responsible for all P&L related deliverables for STEER Engineering. He comes with a rich industrial experience of more than 25 years. Prior to STEER, Atanu led the climate solutions vertical at Ingersoll Rand. He has also held various leadership positions at Sona Koyo Steering systems. Atanu has completed his Masters in management from London School of Economics and B.Tech from IIT Madras.

 

Vincent Rosario, CIO, STEER

 

Vincent Rosario is the Chief Information Officer at STEER Engineering Private Limited and is responsible for IT business strategies and technical and business leadership.

 

Mike Millsaps, COO, STEER AMERICA

 

Mike has been a core member of STEER America’s leadership team since its inception in January 2008. Mike has been instrumental to STEER’s rapid growth and expanding market share in the NAFTA region. Prior to joining STEER America, Mike was Sales Manager at JSW, responsible for establishing and operating JSW’s US sales and technical center. Mike has over 25 years of plastics industry experience and has held various leadership positions with Farrel Corp., Conforma Clad and Dynisco.

 

Prasanna Kumar, DGM – Technical Services and Business Operations, STEER China

 

Prasanna has been with STEER for the last 17 years and is currently leading business operations in China. He has handled the testing and commissioning of over 100 extruders at customer plants in countries like the US, Japan, Germany, Thailand, Istanbul and China. Prasanna has been instrumental in setting up an entire plant that utilises twin-screw extruders and has built a great technical services team globally. He holds a Diploma in Rubber Technology from IIT, Delhi.

 

Sanjay Shah, CBO – MEEAT & SAARC

 

Sanjay leads sales at STEER India besides fulfilling customer needs for India and SAARC by managing Sales, Marketing and Application Development. His focus is largely on businesses aspects, which include Sales, Marketing and Business Development for expanded area of India, SAARC and MEAAT regions. Prior to joining STEER, Sanjay was Vice President of Reliance India Ltd, for over 20 years. He holds a BSc in Polymer Science from UDCT, Mumbai.

 

Shozo Kono, CEO, STEER Japan

 

Kono San has been instrumental in establishing STEER Japan and is currently leading the entire business operations. Prior to STEER has was associated with Kubota Corporation for over 32 years, managing different lines of businesses based out of Germany, New York & Canada. He holds BSc in Supplied Chemical Course from Waseda University, Tokyo.

 

Takeshi Nakatsuka, General Manager, STEER Japan

 

Nakatsuka San leads STEER’s ADC in Japan.He is an expert in compounding Technology. Prior to STEER he was associated with SANYO-KAKO as General Manager. He holds BSc in Applied chemistry from Osaka Institute of Technology, Japan.

 

Robert Roden, Head – Global Compounding and ADC

 

Rob is the Head of global compounding technology for STEER Engineering. He supports existing customers in the plastics industry while driving new manufacturing technologies in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, biocomposites and biorefining. He also focuses on special chemical industries and other areas where continuous manufacturing can impact manufacturing productivity, costs and the economic and physical global environment.

 

Ram Subramanian, Executive Director

 

K. S. Ramsubramanian  Executive Director. Ram is actively engaged in branding and marketing at STEER. He brings more than 38 years of ‘Corporate work and Management Consultancy’ experience in International Business Management, Marketing, Sales and New Ventures. His key strengths are in Creativity, Concept Development, Visualisation and Mentoring. Has done his post graduate management studies in marketing with JBIMS, Mumbai. Ram is an avid golfer too.

 

Shyam Sundar S Pani, Director – Corporate Communications

 

Shyam leads the branding and communications vertical at STEER. He brings around 17 years of meticulous entrepreneurship and rewarding work in PR, Marketing and Sales. Prior to STEER he was managing his own firm — ‘ GIREM’, which is an industry body, focused on urbanisation, future cities, and Eco-Socio-economic infrastructure.

 

Chethan Sharma, AVP – Corporate Strategy

 

Chethan has been with STEER for the last 6 years, He spent his first few years as Finance Manager, globally responsible for Accounting, Budgets, MIS and Taxation for STEER Group.

He understands the pulse of the Organization well, and has transitioned into a role in Corporate Strategy. He takes part in setting up new businesses, contract negotiations and other strategic initiatives.

He is a CA from the ICAI and was associated with Deloitte before he joined STEER.
