Twin-Screw Compounding Elements

The challenges of manufacturing Twin-Screw Compounding Elements are realized through the technical expertise and state of the art facilities available at STEER:

  • CNC Machine Shop: CNC Machines are used for profile generation and wire cutting of the internal splines.
  • Heat Treatment Facility: carried out in a sophisticated protective atmospheric furnace.
  • Nitriding Furnace: Nitriding is used to enhance the surface properties of the material.
  • Grinding Section: Cylindrical & surface grinding is used to finish the elements outer diameter and length to extremely close tolerance levels.
