CONTINUOUS JUTE FILLED THERMOPLASTICS
Reinforcements with bio-fiber jute reduces the carbon footprint and achieves lightweighting of moulded parts. STEER developed Continuous Jute Filled Thermoplastics (JFT) that have 10 – 15% lower density when compared to PP composites, resulting in economic substitution. STEER developed JFT using the OMEGA 1.71 DO/DI platform technology and a combination of STEER’s patented special elements.
